Through rigorous testing and design, TransLogic developed the Whisper Receiving System to significantly lessen the noise that occurs when a carrier arrives at a TransLogic tube system station.

Feature & Function

The system is comprised of an energy- absorbing carrier receiving ramp made of a padded, liquid-resistant nylon that is shaped to gain control of the carrier early in the delivery cycle. The second part of the system is an impact- absorbing receiving cushion made of similar material.

The ramp reduces carrier speed as it arrives at the station, while the landing cushion absorbs the shock of the carrier arrival in the station bin.
