Carrier Features and Benefits

TransLogic carriers safely and reliably transport lab specimens, IV bags, pharmaceuticals, documents, supplies, and other materials throughout the hospital’s tube system. These high-quality carriers protect contents as they travel and are easy to load and unload.

Solid and Durable
Constructed of impact-resistant plastic to withstand daily use while protecting contents.
DuraBand®

Long-life wear bands improve transport stability and reduce carrier wear-related alarms.

Side-opening carriers provide easy access to contents.

Carrier Types

Three different carrier types meet the individual departmental needs of hospitals.

NexSeal EL (6-inch carriers)

One-step closure, leak-resistant carriers help prevent spills and the potential spread of pathogens. Lighter-weight carrier opens wide with increased capacity.

NexSeal (4-inch carriers)

A full-perimeter seal provides leak-resistance to help prevent spills and the potential spread of pathogens. These carriers are full-side opening with a one-step closure.

Universal

Standard, side-opening carrier with the same durable material as our premium carriers.

Carrier Options

TransLogic offers a variety of carriers for both 4-inch and 6-inch tube systems. Carriers are available in various color and feature combinations for use in TransLogic and competitor systems.

Available Carrier Options Include:

Half-Color—Carriers allow viewing of carrier contents while providing easy color identification of department-specific uses.
Frosted Ends—Carriers can also be ordered with frosted ends for Quantum systems.

6-Inch Carriers

TransLogic systems with high-capacity dispatchers transport 6-inch carriers at an average of 20 feet per second. Payload information below represents transport within a TransLogic tube system. Competitor system capacity may be limited by the manufacturer.

4-Inch Carriers

TransLogic systems with high-capacity dispatchers transport 4-inch carriers at an average of 25 feet per second. Payload information below represents transport within a TransLogic tube system. Competitor system capacity may be limited by the manufacturer.

Carrier Accessories and Secondary Containment Materials

In addition to the comprehensive line of carrier options, TransLogic offers a full array of liners, secondary containment, and cleanout kits for use with your tube system carriers.

Containment materials used with conscientious processes for safe handling and infection control ensure successful tube system transport without incident.

Zip N' Fold pouches provide maximum protection from spills.

The Whisper Receiving System significantly lessens the noise that occurs when a carrier arrives at the station.

The station bin liner provides durable, easy cleanup of the station bin interior (6-inch only).
